There are places where disability does not exist, if not understood as something that all people live in the form of fears and blocks that limit life.
The sky is one of these free and democratic places where everyone can brush the clouds.
The hopes, the aspirations and the dreams of the boys involved in this documentary may well represent the desire for redemption and realization that belongs to every human being eager to live fully their existence.

SOLO BASE – From Climbing to Jumping

SOLO BASE – From Climbing to Jumping

Director: Xavier Coll
Country: Spain
Site & date of filming:España, Italia, Francia 2016
Duration: 37′

Solo BASE (From Climbing to Jumping) follows the path of David Fusté along with his friend Turko, both very strong climbers who become BASE jumpers in order to make their dreams of flying a reality. However they don’t only become jumpers, since what they do is climbing without ropes with a parachute on their bags, as their only piece
“safety” gear.

David also has much respect for nature and the animals, being vegan and living his life as part of the environment itself.

Solo BASE is also a tribute to Dean Potter, the one who invented this extreme and yet
beautiful way of living the dream.

WildMed, the last mediterranean forest

WildMed, the last mediterranean forest

Director: Arturo Menor
Country: Spain
Site & date of filming:: Sierra Morena 2011 y 2012
Duration: 60′

Sierra Morena, the largest Mediterranean forest on the planet. From almost sea level, the Sierra Morena mountains rise to more than a thousand meters. In this way we find the best and most complete representation of the Mediterranean forest: olive groves, oak groves, cork oaks, quejigares, until reaching the oak groves; Without forgetting the extensive alysses and the riverside forests that border their rivers.
This forest tapestry houses a rich biodiversity. It is the only place on the Iberian peninsula where all the emblematic species of the Mediterranean forest survive: the lynx, the wolf, the imperial eagle, the black vulture and the black stork.

But Sierra Morena is threatened. Vertebrate communities are changing and the forest is seriously ill. It is estimated that in one hundred and fifty years almost all trees could have died. And large populations of deer and wild boars prevent the forest from regenerating. If we do nothing, Wildmed will be the last Mediterranean forest.

Director: Carlos Pérez Romero
Country: Spain
Site & date of filming: P.N. Cabañeros – Spain, 2016
Duration: 50′
